Cane Corso Puppy Nutrition:
We take pride in the health of our Cane Corso puppies and our breeding program focuses on proper nutrition from pregnancy through puppy development. Our pregnant mothers are fed high-quality rations along with prenatal supplements that support healthy growth and development of the puppies.
Therefore, proper nutrition during early development plays a major role in bone development, immune system strength, and overall health of Cane Corso puppies.
How Our Cane Corso Puppies Are Raised:
Worldwide Cane Corso puppies are raised in our home environment, not in a kennel setting. Our Cane Corso puppies are handled daily and exposed to many different surfaces, sounds, people, animals, and everyday activity. This early exposure helps puppies become confident and adaptable as they grow.
We focus on giving each Cane Corso puppy a strong foundation through early handling, human interaction, and environmental exposure before they go to their new homes.
Cane Corso Puppy Health Guarantee
We provide a 2-Year Health Guarantee covering specific genetic health conditions as outlined in our purchase contract.
All Cane Corso puppies:
- Receive age-appropriate vaccinations
- Are on a scheduled deworming program
- Receive a health check prior to going home
- Are raised on a structured nutrition program
We focus heavily on breeding, early socialization, and proper development. However, a dog’s long-term behavior and temperament are influenced by training, environment, leadership, and socialization after the puppy leaves our care.
AKC Cane Corso Registration:
Our Cane Corso puppies are also eligible for registration with:
- ICCF
- UKC
- ABKC
Vaccinations
First, puppies receive their first vaccination at 6–7 weeks of age.
Puppies with natural ears go home at 8 weeks of age.
Puppies with cropped ears are usually ready to travel about 2 days after the procedure.
Additional vaccinations should be given at approximately 9, 12, and 15 weeks of age or as recommended by your veterinarian.
Training Cane Corso Puppies:
We begin early training and socialization with our Cane Corso puppies starting at approximately 4 weeks of age. Puppies are raised with access to outdoor areas to begin learning to go outside to potty and to experience different environments.
Early training and continued training after your puppy goes home are extremely important for the development of a Cane Corso.
Socializing Cane Corso Puppies
We spend a significant amount of time providing positive experiences to socialize our Cane Corso puppies. Once your puppy is fully vaccinated, we encourage owners to continue socialization by exposing the puppy to new environments, people, and situations in a positive way.
Socialization and training during the first year play a major role in the adult dog your Cane Corso puppy will become.
We strongly recommend Puppy Kindergarten and Basic Obedience classes for all Cane Corso puppies.
Due to the size, intelligence, and working nature of the Cane Corso breed, we require that all puppies complete a Basic Obedience course with a certified trainer and/or pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test by 6 months of age.
Training and socialization are essential for raising a well-behaved Cane Corso and are the responsibility of the new owner once the puppy leaves our care. While we focus on breeding, early socialization, and proper development, the adult behavior and temperament of a Cane Corso are influenced by training, environment, leadership, and socialization after the puppy leaves our care.
Picking Your Cane Corso Puppy
We provide live video and regular updates so families can watch the Cane Corso puppies grow and develop. At approximately 7 weeks of age, we create a Pick Your Puppy video so families can evaluate structure, personality, and development.
Cane Corso puppies are selected immediately after this video in deposit order.
Full rights puppies are selected first, followed by companion puppies in deposit order.
When Can Your Cane Corso Puppy Go Home?
Cane Corso puppies are typically ready to travel to their new homes at 8–9 weeks of age. We understand busy schedules, so your Cane Corso puppy may stay with us until 10 weeks of age at no additional charge if needed.
Ear Cropping & Tail Docking:
Tails are docked at 2-3 days old. Ear cropping is a cosmetic procedure. You will decide if you desire to have your puppies’ ears cropped or if you would like to leave them natural. We can arrange for the ear cropping with our vet for an additional $550.00.
Shipping Cane Corso Puppies:
Finally, we offer both ground transportation and air transportation for our Cane Corso puppies across the United States.
Puppy Pickup
If you would rather drive to pick up your puppy but are limited on time, we are willing to drive and meet you within 1 hour of our home saving you 2 hours of driving
